Boxbury Beat - Windows

Boxbury Beat era una prometedora banda de Elverum (Noruega). En 1984 grabaron esta demo de su tema mas conocido "Windows". Luego vino su unico sencillo "Never along with you" lanzado por EMI en 1985. Este single consiguió una buena crítica. La banda estaba compuesta por Helge Hellebust (Voz), Einar Øverenget (Bajo), Erling Iver Arva (teclados) y Maurstad Kent (guitarra). Este videoclip se realizó para un prtograma de la TV noruega llamado "Rock Against Midnight" y fue producido por Jan Egil Løvbak en1984. Toda una joya, espero que la disfruteis.

Mad in Belgium - Vol.2 1985

Y aqui la segunda entrega de la revista mad in belgium del año 1985, a destacar sobre todo la tremenda primera version que hicieron los Aroma di Amore de su tema mas conocido "Zij is blij" absolutamente gloriosa y nada que ver con la que todos conocemos, espero poder completar la serie de cassettes que aparecieron en este magazine, si alguien dispone de mas cintas de la serie o de mas información, como siempre sera bienvenida.

Aqui os dejo esta joya, que aparecio con el numero 1 de la revista musical "mad in Belgium" y que atesora verdaderas maravillas, muchas de las canciones aqui recopiladas son demos que sirven de testigo de los primeros pasos de grupos que luego serian autenticos puntales de sonido belga, the klinik, the neon judgement, O-veux, etc.

Asi comenzaba el album debut de este trio compuesto por Phillip Yeadon (Vocalista), James Connor (Bajo), Anay Fenn (Guitarras), corria el año 1986 y bajo el sello Damaged Product apareció esta rara pieza con momentos absolutamente deliciosos. Poco mas conozco de esta excelente banda que dos años después saco un maxi también soberbio llamado “Rant” y que en su cara b guardaba el tesoro “Dust After Embers”
